The location was perfect, right in the middle of the village. It had everything we needed including a washing machine. It didn’t worry us but some people might find it too small, we needed to keep our suitcase on the balcony as there was no room for it inside.

Artemis first floor apartment was the perfect base for me and my wife for the few days that we were in the area. George the host was very responsive and sent us a lot of helpful information leading up to our stay. This was great because our arrival was late in the evening however we were already prepped by George with parking location (which was nearby) and check in information via lockbox. The location is just behind the supermarket which was very convenient and set back from the main buzz of the thriving centre so you can still sleep well. You are most definitely in the middle of the bars and restaurants so there in plenty nearby the property to choose from. The apartment itself was well equipped. Highlights of the apartment was the air conditioning, balcony and the walk in shower. The apartment was very clean. Our checkout was very easy and we will be recommending Artemis first floor apartment to all who want to visit the east side of Crete.
