Nous avons vécu un merveilleux séjour à la villa Vorno, un véritable écrin de sérénité niché au milieu des oliviers. Ici, le temps semble suspendu : nos seuls voisins étaient les criquets, dont le chant mélodieux rythmait nos journées baignées de soleil, tandis que nos regards se perdaient dans la contemplation d’une vallée à couper le souffle. La villa, à la fois élégante et chaleureuse, allie avec harmonie le charme traditionnel et le confort moderne. Chaque détail est pensé pour que l’on s’y sente comme chez soi – ou mieux encore. Mais ce qui a rendu notre expérience vraiment exceptionnelle, c’est l’accueil attentionné de nos hôtes, toujours à l’écoute et soucieux de notre bien-être. Un immense merci à George, dont les conseils avisés nous ont permis de découvrir des pépites locales, comme la Taverne de Lakkonia. Une adresse authentique où nous avons savouré, sous les étoiles, les saveurs généreuses et les plats traditionnels de la Crète. Merci

L'environnement est très calme et très privé. Une belle vue sur les montagnes et l'espace extérieur bien aménagé, avec une petite piscine. La taverne Stavrakakis à 2 km de la maison vaut le détour ! Il faut aussi aller à Kritsa pour visiter une magnifique église Panagias Keras et pour acheter des produits locaux élaborés par une coopérative de femmes ! Des nombreux sites archéologiques, notamment la cité ancienne de Lato, sont à une courte distance de la maison. Nous étions accueillis par Maria ; ses conseils et son assistance tout le long de notre séjour ont été très appréciables.

What a fantastic stay….we had a great week at Villa Vorna! The property is about 20 mins outside Agios Nikolaos up in the hills, so a bit out of the way but you are rewarded with wonderful views everyday. The villa is in excellent condition inside and out and has everything you need…we were even greeted with a lovely welcome pack! Local tavernas about 10 mins away if you don’t fancy going all the way into town. Would definitely recommend!

This is a truly wonderful house. Villa Vorno is in a wonderfully peaceful setting with breathtaking views of mountains and olive groves. Up in the mountains and away from the busyness of the beaches and towns. If you want peace, privacy and tranquility then this will not disappoint. The house is beautifully furnished and pristine. It has superb facilities with a lovely pool, barbecue area, fabulous outdoor seating and a gym area. George the host was so hospitable and friendly. He was super responsive and gave superb recommendations for restaurants, places to go and suggestion for things to do during our stay. There are a few great tavernas only a 5 to 10 minute drive away which are really friendly and serve great traditional Cretan dishes. I would really really recommend Villa Vorno for a peaceful holiday in the most stunning surroundings.
